CETEHRPN was established on 23 January 2011 and has been working to promote healthier, more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable communities by advancing human rights and social justice, evidence-based research, sustainable agriculture and irrigation, responsible tourism, reforestation and ecosystem restoration, climate and environmental action, biodiversity and water conservation, public health and well-being, futures studies and foresight, democratic participation, cultural and literary initiatives, responsible digital media, investigative journalism, and strategic national and international partnerships.

Through these interconnected areas of work, CETEHRPN seeks to strengthen communities, promote informed and inclusive decision-making, protect ecosystems and cultural heritage, and contribute to a more just, sustainable, and resilient future.
